In December, I unveiled the space to wear [T-PEACE] in Tokyo and Osaka.
It was the first time for me to have so many people try on my products.
I wonder if anyone will like it? I hope so.
I was in a modest mood.
I was so happy that I almost cried when I received 10 more orders than I expected.
When I used to make architecture. I had a strong ego that wanted to see and create something I had never seen before.
More than the feelings of the people who would use the space and the people who would live there,
I wanted to create something that I had not yet seen.
I wanted to create something unique. I thought that would result in value.
But. That is not my motivation for making clothes.
I wanted to make something as simple as possible in shape, with a large range of expansion and contraction, and to create "something that is completed by the wearer's body shape. I wanted to make clothes that would be completed by the wearer's body shape.
Aiming to make clothes that have value for people of different heights and builds.
I wanted to make clothes that would suit the wearer's body shape, not clothes that would suit the wearer.
I wanted to make clothes that "fit the person" rather than "clothes that look good on the person.
I am happiest when people try on my clothes and say, "Oh, they look good on me...".
I am the happiest.
Next year, I would like to go out and hold fitting sessions myself.
I have stepped into the world after getting out of architecture, so I need to step up my game.
I am currently preparing a men's line as well.
I also want to try my hand at neckties made from scraps and one-of-a-kind unisex patchwork skirts.
I also want to try my hand at patchwork skirts.
Since we are using only one type of fabric, we will use up all the scraps! This is not about SDGs or ecology, but instinct.
